- The camping rates are for two
(2) people, children six (6) and under are free. The rate includes
the POOL, LAKE FISHING and other outside activities.
- Only one (1) family per site
please, example: mom, dad, your unmarried children & grandchildren.
Extended family members will need to rent their own campsite.
- Reservations are suggested for
weekends and Holidays. One night stay requires a deposit of one
night. A stay of 2 to 7 days requires a two-night deposit. Holiday
reservations require a stay of 3 nights, and a 3-night deposit.
Holidays are Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day. Lake Front
and other prime sites require a two-night minimum on weekends.
We will make every effort to reserve the site you request but
we cannot guarantee sites.
- Deposits need to be received
within 7 days from the date the reservation is made or the reservation
will be cancelled. Cash, check, money order, credit card may
be used to secure your reservation. Credit card deposits will
be processed at the time the reservation is made, not just held
until your arrival.
- Check-In is between 3:00pm and
9:00pm on the day of your arrival. Checkout time is 2:00pm on
your departure day. Please check with our office to verify availability
if you want to check out after 2:00pm, as we may have a reservation
coming in on your site at 3:00pm. If you would like to extend
your stay an additional night please check with the office by
11:00am on the day of your scheduled departure to check availability.
- Refunds: A refund, less $5.00
fee, will be given on cancelled site reservations, providing
notice has been received a minimum of one week prior to your
arrival. Notice must be made by a phone call, not be email. If
you cancel less than one week prior to your arrival, a credit
will be given less $5.00 fee, good for future use, if we are
able to re-rent the site. No-show or cancellations on arrival
day will forfeit the deposit. Holiday weekends/weekdays, the
race weekends in May and October, a refund less $5.00 fee, will
be given if we receive a 3 week notice and we are able to re-rent
the site for the reserved time. If less than 3-week notice is
given and/or we are unable to re-rent the site a credit less
$5.00 fee will be given for future use. We do not give refunds
for early departure, unless we are able to re-rent the site.
Weather conditions are beyond our control, and do not constitute
reason for a refund. If your stay was paid for by a check a refund
will be mailed to you after your check has been processed.
- Visitors/Guests: A visitor/guest
is any person arriving after the registered party has checked
in. All visitors/guests will be charged a daily fee. Overnight
visitors/guests will be allowed only if there is room within
the registered hosts camper/trailer/RV. We reserve the right
to limit the number of persons occupying and/or visiting a site.
Visitors/guests must display the vehicle pass given them on arrival.
Please remember the camper must be present during the time their
visitor/guest are in the campground. The registered camper is
responsible for the behavior and actions of their visitors/guests.
Pet Policy
- Midway Campground is pet friendly
and welcomes campers who travel and share their camping with
the family dog and/or cat. However to insure all of our guests
have a safe and enjoyable time, it is important that you read
and abide by the following pet policy.
- Pets are welcome but their owners
must be well trained!
- All dogs are required to be
under the control and visual observation of their owners at all
times.
- A 6' (six foot) maximum length
leash must be used whenever the dog is outside the owner's camper
or motor home. Please do not use extension leashes while in our
campground.
- DO know that the Health Department
Rules dictate NO PETS in the store, bathrooms, laundry, game
room, playground and pool area.
- Dogs are not to be walked by
children 6 years and under unless accompanied by an adult.
- All pet owners are required
to pick up all pet droppings on and off their site, seal droppings
in a plastic bag and disposing in a trashcan. Not picking up
after your pet is reason to be asked to leave our campground.
- Aggressive dogs of any breeds
are not welcome. If your dog shows behavior that is protective
and unfriendly to strangers, and other animals, please leave
it home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this
type of behavior the owner or manager will ask you to please
find other camping accommodations.
- Allowing your pet to bark uncontrollably
day or night will not be permitted and you may be asked to leave
if you are not able to control your pets barking behavior.
- Service dogs of any breed are
welcome. However, these animals must follow the leash policies
and may not exhibit aggressive behavior.
- Pets must not be left outside
unattended by their owners at any time. Dog kennels or pens are
not allowed to be used outside the camper and /or motor home.
- Dogs are not permitted in tents
on Friday and Saturday nights, or on Holiday weekends including
the full week of July 4th holiday.
- Our major insurance provider
requirements are that we cannot accept breeds having a history
of unfriendly and aggressive behavior to both other dogs and
to humans. These breeds are Dobermans, Pitt Bull and Pit Bull
mixes, Chows, Rottweilers, Wolf and Wolf mixes.
- We encourage all dog owners
to call in advance to inquire about any specific rules that might
apply to their specific situation.
